CM plants saplings with Cine Star Akshay Kumar

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted Gulmohar and Arjun saplings along with famous cine Star Akshay Kumar and former Mayor Alok Sharma at Smart City Garden.

On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, along with Chief Minister Chouhan, Sunil Jain, Sandeep Jain and Devendra Jain of Jain Engineer Society also planted saplings.

Chief Minister Chouhan apprised actor Akshay Kumar that tree plantation has been taken as a campaign in the state to protect the environment and save the Earth. With the aim of motivating the people in the campaign, he himself does plantation every day. Social organisations also enthusiastically participate in this noble act of plantation.

The Gulmohar planted today is considered one of the most beautiful trees in the world. It is also rich in medicinal properties.

Arjun is a medicinal tree, the use of its bark and juice is beneficial in diseases like heart and tuberculosis. Arjun tree is found in large numbers in Madhya Pradesh.
