Jabalpur High Court reprimanded CM Shivraj Chouhan for stopping the appointment process on the basis of suspicion after allegations of rigging in Patwari exam.
“Either cancel the exam or start the recruitment process,” the court gave 3 weeks
On the petition of Prayag Raj, who scored 88.86% in the Patwari exam, a single bench of Justice MS Bhatti of Jabalpur High Court issued a notice and sought a response from the government within three weeks.*”The CM has no right to stop the exam process” Prayag’s lawyer Aditya Sanghi said in the court.*
The news of rigging in Patwari exam at a center in Gwalior and making it an issue by the Congress in the election year, but the Chief Minister, while banning the appointment process, ordered an inquiry by a retired High Court judge.
Many students were angry because of the delay in the examination process.
