‘Elon’s not really leaving’: Trump says Musk will ‘be back and forth’, DOGE his ‘ba’ | World News

US President Donald Trump Friday, heaped praise on Elon Musk saying, “Elon’s service to America is without comparison in modern hory,” adding that Musk “is not really leaving” and will be “back and forth” to the White House because DOGE is his “ba”. The two were making joint comments in the Oval Office as Musk’s White House contract ends.

While Musk confirmed he was stepping down as a special government employee, he also insed this wasn’t a real farewell.
“This isn’t the end of Doge, it’s more the beginning,” Musk declared, calling Doge “a way of life” and reiterating his long-shot claim that it would eventually reach $1 trillion in savings — a promise that remains far from realized. “Over time,” he said, “I’m confident.”
The press conference ended with Trump claiming future savings from waste and fraud in federal contracts would be thanks to Musk: “We’ll remember you,” he told the billionaire entrepreneur.
