Amitabh Bachchan is inarguably the most respected movie star in Hindi film hory. Every Sunday, if he is able to, the actor makes it a point to greet fans that have gathered outside his Mumbai bungalow. He often shares pictures of the ‘darshan’, and comments about it on his blog. He recently shared a video of his latest interaction with fans, and wrote that words fail him when he is surrounded so much love.

Sharing a clip that shows hundreds of fans shouting his name outside his bungalow on Sunday, Big B got overwhelmed with all the love, and wrote on his blog, “Nothing else to say…” Amitabh Bachchan began this weekly ritual in the early 1980s. It’s a tradition that has continued for over four decades, symbolising his deep bond and gratitude toward his fans.

Amitabh Bachchan also took to his blog to share, “इस महानता को मैं कैसे भूल स्केट हूँ ? निरंतर मेरी प्रार्थना, और अनेक अनेक आभार !! (How do I forget this greatness? Amitabh Bachchan currently resides in his bungalow named Jalsa, located in Juhu, Mumbai. He also owns other properties, including Prateeksha, which was his first home and remains a significant family residence. Other notable residences associated with the Bachchan family include: Janak and Vatsa.
