Every Apple original film and show will be available for free on these three days | Hollywood News

Tech behemoth Apple has just announced that for the first weekend of 2025, audiences will be able to stream all its titles for free. Apple released a video, which included clips from popular shows and films such as Severance, The Instigators, Wolfs, The Morning Show, and Ted Lasso. Users will be able to access the entire Apple originals library for free from January 3 to 5. The clips also include reviews given to Apple shows top publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Collider, Variety, Forbes, and more. The video then cuts to a text saying, “Don’t take their word for it. come see for yourself.”

Apple TV+ has made a separate space for itself in the streaming game. The service started on November 1, 2019, with 8 original titles and a single documentary. The streaming platform faced difficulties in its initial days, as exing services like Netflix and Prime had quite a grip on the market. Apple tried to incentivise the users offering free streaming for the first year after buying an Apple product.

It quickly became a platform for several critically acclaimed titles, such as Ted Lasso and CODA. Both garnered love from users and critics and won an Emmy and an Oscar, respectively. Lately, titles like Silo, Presumed Innocent, and Slow Horses gained more popularity for the platform, which still struggles to compete with the likes of Netflix and Prime Video.
