Expired, valueless and immoral Budget by Modi govt: Mamata, Congress trash interim Budget 2019

The Opposition has slammed the Narendra Modi government over announcements made in the Interim Budget today. While West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee called it “valueless”, the Congress said it is an election jumla.

Mamata Banerjee said the Modi government has “no moral authority” to place the Interim Budget as a normal Budget for five years. She said, “This government has no moral authority or responsibility to place the Budget for five years when they’ll not be in power.”
