The trailer of the highly anticipated racing drama F1 is finally out. The film, starring Brad Pitt in the lead role, is directed Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. The trailer shows Brad Pitt playing the role of Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 driver who returns to the sport after a devastating crash decades earlier. He is recruited his old teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem) to train his team’s rookie driver, Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) to revive his struggling APXGP team.
The trailer shows Kate (Kerry Condon) talking to Pitt’s Hayes. She says, “Why are you here? When you look in the mirror, you see this rough and tough and tumble old school cowboy. Doesn’t take orders. Goes his own way. A lone wolf. Well, I have news for you. Formula 1 is a team sport. It always was. Len, let’s get this straight. We all lose our jobs if you can’t pull of a miracle. The only question here is why does Hayes come back to F1?”

The trailer then shows the conversation between Brad Pitt and Damson Idris who says, “I think it’s really wonderful that Apex has given second chances to the elderly.” He later tells Brad, “You are making a make thinking I am going to be some grateful kid who will bend a knee to an oldtimer.”
