A popular bakery in Bengaluru’s Koramangala has found itself at the centre of a social media firestorm after a series of controversial interactions with customers. The bakery’s response took a sharp turn into personal territory.A social media user wrote, “Worst experience had to pay ₹2000 for a table ? So overhyped.”The eatery responded, “The above experience is 16k, bet you can’t afford that either.” The OP retorted sharing, “I don’t see any crowd outside that dodgy building waiting to have this so called 16k experience! I’d say what class actually means but you’d never get it. Your class is already reflected in the way you reply to the comments online, don’t bother trying to look cool.” The bakery said, “Bad math. Poor. Bad vocabulary. e.”Online critics are drawing sharp comparisons to brands like Ryanair and Duolingo, which are famous for their “unhinged” social media personas. However, the internet is quick to point out that the Bengaluru bakery is attacking the person rather than the situation calling customers “poor” or mocking their “vocabulary”.
