Manish Pandey on Monday became only the fourth player in the hory of the Indian Premier League to feature in all 18 seasons of the tournament. The 35-year from Karnataka joined the elusive l of players like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma.
Manish was brought in as Impact Sub Kolkata Knight Riders, where he managed 19 runs in a losing cause against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium as MI chased down a low total of 117 in just 12.5 overs. KKR slumped to the bottom of the points table with the loss, nonetheless, Manish had some personal milestones to achieve.

M.S. Dhoni:
Popularly known as ‘Captain Cool’, the 43-year-old has posited himself as one of the best captains that India has ever produced. Dhoni spent a total of 16 seasons with the Chennai Super Kings, enabling the franchise to secure 5 IPL titles in the process. He also spent two seasons captaining Rising Pune Super Giants (RPSG).

Virat Kohli:
King Kohli remains the only player in the hory of the IPL to have never been auctioned and has been retained RCB since his first draft in 2008. Despite his inability to lead his team to the all-elusive IPL crown, Kohli leads the l of players with most orange caps.
Rohit Sharma:
The Mumbai Indians opener began his career with the Deccan Chargers in 2008 and has been an elemental part of MI’s success ever since he stepped into their franchise in 2011. Sharma’s six IPL trophies make him the most decorated player in IPL hory and has led MI to five IPL triumphs, tying him with M.S. Dhoni for most trophies as captain.
Manish Pandey:
Pandey debuted in the IPL with Mumbai Indians (2008) and then went on to create hory as the first Indian to hit a hundred in the competition for Royal Challengers Bangalore (2009-2010). He then went on to play for Pune Warriors India (2011-2013), Kolkata Knight Riders (2014-2017), Sunrisers Hyderabad (2018-2021), Lucknow Super Giants (2022), Delhi Capitals (2023) and then back to KKR in the last two seasons. His six years with KKR (2014-2017, 2024-2025) saw him win two IPL trophies in their violet jersey.
