Gen-Z protests in Nepal: Protests have re-erupted in Nepal forcing the authorities to imposed a curfew in several areas. Protestors gathered at the Simara Chowk at around 11 am on Thursday, after which police used force to disperse them and authorities later imposed a curfew, The Kathmandu Post reported.
The curfew in Simara was imposed at around 12.45 pm and will last till 8 pm, the report said. The Gen Z protestors accused the police of failing to arrest the individuals named in their complaints regarding the clashes that erupted on Wednesday.
On November 19, six Gen Z supporters were injured, and the group lodged a complaint against six UML cadres over the confrontation at Simara Chowk, near the Simara airport.
