Samsung Galaxy A20s launched in India at Rs 11,999: Specs and availability

South Korean tech major Samsung on Saturday announced a new Galaxy A series smartphone in India. Called the Galaxy A20s, the phone comes with enhanced features and improved performance. It features a triple camera module at the back, a 15W fast charging technology and Dolby Atmos surround sound technology.

Samsung Galaxy A20s price in India starts at Rs 11,999 for the basic 3GB+32GB variant and goes up to Rs 13,999 for the higher 4GB+64GB storage model. The phone will be up for grabs starting today i.e October 5 via Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera House, leading e-commerce channels and retail stores across the country. Buyers will get as many as three colour options namely Green, Blue and Black.

Galaxy A20s features a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V Display as opposed to 6.4-inch HD+ display present in Galaxy A20. Under the hood, the phone comes hiding beneath Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processor paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage models.

It is powered by the same 4000mAh battery capacity with 15W fast charging technology, just like we saw on Galaxy A20.

In terms of the imaging department, the Galaxy A20s has triple camera array on the back which consists of a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with f1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There is also an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Further, the Galaxy A20s sports a sleek 8mm design with a mirror-like finish. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security and a Dolby Atmos surround sound system.
