Actor Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas arrived at the Met Gala in style, dressed in coordinated black-and-white outfits, which the couple swear was completely chance. Amid the red carpet photo ops and interviews, the couple spoke about how stepping out for events and date nights has changed since becoming parents.
While talking to Vogue, the couple revealed that they did not plan to wear matching outfits for Met Gala 2025. Priyanka Chopra, who turned heads with their first Met Gala appearance back in 2017, also talked about how their relationship with each other has evolved since the arrival of their daughter, Malti Marie Jonas. “This is our big night out as Mom and Dad, and we are excited to jump back into where our story began. We get ready in almost the same vicinity, and it is a bit different to go out after becoming parents. Our daughter is there, so we keep checking in on her while we are getting ready,” said Nick.

Shortly afterward, Priyanka shared with Nick the sweet demand their daughter made before they left for the event — one she couldn’t help but give in to. “I might have told her that she can watch a movie tonight and we don’t watch movies during the weekdays, but she said that Mama and Daddy are going to the ball like Cinderella, so can I watch Cinderella tonight?”
In addition to their unplanned matching outfits, the couple was spotted socializing with singer Shakira and Diljit Dosanjh, who carpooled with the Latin icon. Some fans also noted that Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan‘s outfits resembled their characters from the 2006 film Don. One fan commented, “Don and Roma are back for a mission.”
