Insider Jeff Sneider dropped an alleged l of remaining cast members that Marvel didn’t confirm earlier when they announced Robert Downey Jr. as Doom, alongside other returning names like Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, and Simu Liu as Shang-Chi. Unconfirmed leaked cast of Marvel Doomsday
Journal Jeff Sneider revealed an alleged leaked cast l on The Hot Mic podcast and shared the same on his social media handle, though he mentioned to take the information with a ‘grain of salt.’ The l suggests Mark Ruffalo will return as Hulk, Brie Larson will reprise her role as Captain Marvel, and Jeremy Renner, who recently revealed turning down the Hawkeye 2 offer, might also return to his role as Clint Barton. The rumoured l also has some major upsets, as fans were hoping for Spider-Man and Wolverine to reprise their roles. But if this one is to be believed, that’s not happening yet. Charlie Cox and Oscar Isaac are also missing.

Multiverse collapse & Doctor Doom
Of what we know so far, the story of Avengers: Doomsday centres around the collapse of the multiverse, where different realities crash into each other, causing what are called “incursions.” Marvel recently dropped its new world of misfits called New Avengers as Thunderbolts,  the cast will also reprise their role in Doomsday, along with the cast of the upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This was confirmed in the Thunderbolts post-credit scene, which suggests that all Avengers and New Avengers may finally team up against the threat, and the one pulling the strings behind it all is none other than Victor Von Doom. Downey is back, but not as Iron Man. This time, he’s playing the powerful villain Doctor Doom.Story continues below this ad
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, followed Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027
