After slaying with her different looks at the Cannes Film Festival last week, Alia Bhatt has now taken to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes moments from her much-talked-about debut at the prestigious French film festival. In a series of photographs and videos, the Jigra actor gave fans a glimpse into the preparation and work that went behind her show-stopping outfits.
The first photo shows Alia’s team getting her ready for her much-anticipated debut at the festival. The actor wore a Schiaparelli ensemble for the red carpet. The following videos show her getting ready in a powder yellow Gucci skirt and bralette attire for one of her appearances. In the clip, her makeup art is seen perfecting her red lipstick, crucial for the look. One of the photos also shows her flaunting her curves in Gucci’s interpretation of a saree, which became a talking point among fashion enthusiasts. She is also seen enjoying live music at an event and posing in a stunning Armani ensemble. She wrapped up the post with a group photo featuring her team, including her styl Rhea Kapoor, who is also seen posing with the actor.
She captioned the post, “cannes-dids ☀ okay e, see you next year 👋🏼.” Alia attended the festival as one of L’Oréal’s ambassadors. She had also praised Aishwarya Rai, the brand’s ambassador for nearly two decades. She said, “I, for one, have actually grown up watching Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walk the carpet in all her glory and really representing India on this global stage. It was always such a huge inspiration. So it really feels very nice, like a pinch-me moment to be here. And it’s actually really lovely energy.”
After dazzling at Cannes, Alia jetted off to Spain to attend her friend’s wedding. Photos and videos from the ceremony have now gone viral on social media. On the professional front, Alia will next be seen in Alpha, YRF’s first-ever female-led spy flick. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War in the pipeline, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
