Here’s why Rohit Sharma says winning 2024 T20 World Cup more special than inaugural World T20 triumph in 2007 | Cricket News

Team India captain Rohit Sharma revealed why winning the 2024 T20 World Cup is more special to him than India’s inaugural World T20 triumph in 2007.
“2007 was a different feeling, we started off in the afternoon. This is in the evening. I cannot forget 2007 as it wad my first World Cup,” Rohit said in a video posted the BCCI.
“This is little more special because I was leading the team. It’s a very proud moment for me,” he added.
Tens of thousands of jubilant fans poured onto Mumbai’s Marine Drive to cheer India’s new world cricket champions when they returned home on Thursday.
