Indie dributor A24 has dropped the trailer for its new military action movie Warfare, starring Kit Connor, Will Poulter, and D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai. The movie has been written and directed Alex Garland and US Army veteran Ray Mendoza, who served in Iraq, which is also where the film is set. The trailer shows a company of soldiers trapped and pinned down enemy gunfire, trying to fight their way out to survival.
The film has a star-studded cast of young actors such as Joseph Quinn, Michael Gandolfini, Noah Centineo, Charles Melton, Finn Bennet, Cosmo Jarvis, and Henry Zaga. The soldiers find themselves stuck on the battlefield, waiting for backup as they plan an evacuation without losing any members of the battalion.

Other A24 titles that are set to release soon include Bagirl, starring Nicole Kidman; Parthenope, starring Celeste Dalla Porta; The Legend of Ochi; On Becoming a Guinea Fowl; and Friendship.
