With the 2023 World Cup final between India and Australia just a couple of days away, the ICC has announced the names of the officials who will be officiating the high voltage encounter on November 19.

Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough will be the on-field umpires while Andy Pycroft will be the match umpire. Meanwhile, Joel Wilson and Chris Gaffaney will be the third and fourth umpires respectively.
India and Australia had met previously in their World Cup opener in Chepauk where the hosts defeated the 5-time world champions 6 wickets.

As the fever for the world cup final reaches its peak, hotel room tariffs for the night of the match have gone up as high as Rs 2 lakh in top five-star hotels in the city, while other hotels have also increased their rates five to seven times.

India reached the final on Wednesday when they defeated New Zealand 70 runs in the semifinal at Wankhede in Mumbai. Australia, meanwhile, went past South Africa 3 wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday.
The two teams will again lock horns after the final is said and done when they meet for a 5-match T20I series, starting on November 23.
