French Open Quarterfinals 2024 Live Score, PV Sindhu vs Chen Yufei: There was a glimpse of PV Sindhu returning to her best against Beiwen Zhang in the Round of 16 at the French Open Super 750 badminton tournament. The double Olympic medall beats Beiwen Zhang to win second successive close match to showcase improved fitness and sharper game. Sindhu, playing her first BWF tour event since returning from a knee injury, will take on second seed Chen Yu Fei of China in the women’s quarterfinal, being played at the badminton venue for Paris 2024.
Indian doubles players Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, who cruised into the quarterfinals will take on the Thai pair of Jomkoh Supak and Kedren Kittinupong for a place in the semifinal.
In the round of 16 at the French Open, Lakshya came up with a fabulous come-from-behind win to defeat world No 4 Li Shi Feng 16-21, 21-15, 21-13 in an 81-minute thriller. He will take on Loh Kean Yew in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, in the women’s doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand, who stunned seventh seeded Japanese duo of Yuki Fukushima and Sayaka Hirota 21-18, 21-13 in the pre-quarters, will face top seeds Qing Chen Chen and Yi Fan Jia of China in the last eight.
