India announce squad for New Zealand Test series: No Shami, Bumrah named vice-captain | Cricket News

India announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match home Test series against New Zealand on Friday.
There no changes made in the composition of the squad that was named for the recently concluded Test series against Bangladesh, meaning Mohammed Shami won’t mark his return to the Indian cricket team after his long-standing bout with injury for close to a year.
Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah on the other hand, has been named as Rohit Sharma’s chief deputy.
