Sunrisers Hyderabad end season on a high after defeating Kolkata Knight Riders

IPL 2025 Points Table After IPL Today Match Update: Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders convincingly to end their losing streak against the defending champions. With SRH posting the third highest IPL total on Sunday with 278/5, courtesy of a blering century Heinrich Klaasen, the third fastest in IPL hory, KKR were never in the match. Travis Head also chipped in with a quickfire 76 off just 40 deliveries as Kolkata bowlers ended their campaign on a low note.
Chasing, KKR never looked comfortable, losing wickets at regular intervals with Manish Pandey top scoring with 37 runs. Quinton de Kock had another forgettable outing with just 9 while Andre Russell, Ajinkya Rahane and Rinku Singh also not creating an impact. Harsh Dubey was the pick of the SRH bowlers taking 3 wickets.
In the other match of the day, Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans 83 runs in their last IPL league match. Opting to bat, CSK posted an imposing 230 for 5, riding on fifties from Devon Conway (52) and Dewald Brevis (57) . In reply, GT crumbled under scoreboard pressure to be bowled out for 147 in 18.3 overs with opener Sai Sudharsan top-scoring with a 28-ball 41.

With the loss, GT’s hopes of retaining its place in the top-two depends on other results. For CSK, Anshul Kamboj (3/13), Noor Ahmed (3/21) snapped three wickets each, Ravindra Jadeja (2/17) took two, while Khaleel Ahmed (1/17) and Matheesha Pathirana (1/29) accounted for one wicket each. Prasidh Krishna (2/22) was the pick of the bowlers for GT.
