After a horic Saturday in Hangzhou for the Indian contingent at the Asian Games, action picks up the pace on Sunday with more medals in store.
Thomas Cup champions vs powerhouses of badminton in their own backyard. It doesn’t get much bigger than that. HS Prannoy and Co will be looking to go one step further from their superb semifinal win but China will be no pushovers.
Shooting: Last day of action
The shooting contingent has rung in the medals so far with 19 in all, and Sunday will draw curtains on this sport in Hangzhou. Trap shooters are in focus, and after a good first day, watch out for the men’s team.
Athletics: Finals galore
Avinash Sable, Jyothi Yarraji and Sreeshankar Murali will all be in medal contention as track & field events pick up pace on Sunday.
Boxing: Can Nikhat Zareen enter final?
Medal assured, Paris 2024 quota sealed, next target is gold for Zareen as she seeks to keep her unbeaten run going.
Women’s Hockey: India vs Korea
It is still a pool stage match but one of significance as Savita Punia and Co will take on Korea in a contest likely to decide the top spot.
