August 5 was an incredible day for the Indian contingent in more ways than one, and things pick up a gear on Wednesday as the likes of Mirabai Chanu, Vinesh Phogat, Antim Panghal, Manika Batra and Avinash Sable take centerstage.
It is a jam-packed day of track & field action for the Indian athletes.

Avinash Sable reached his first Olympic final with a solid run, but will have to be at his absolute best to be in the mix in a high-quality final field. After a sensational start to her campaign with a win over Yui Susaki, Vinesh Phogat became the first Indian woman to reach a Wrestling final as she guaranteed India another medal – gold or silver. After the heartbreaks of Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, a massive day for the Indian star.
