India has issued travel advisory for Iran and advised Indian citizens and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) currently in the Islamic Republic to exercise due caution amid widespread protests in the country.

The Minry of External Affairs, in a notification stated, “In view of recent developments, Indian nationals are advised to avoid non-essential travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran until further notice.”
