Approximately 10,500 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) are expected to compete in the multisport event. The official mascot for the event is the Olympic Phryge, inspired the traditional Phrygian hats. It is in blue, white, and red colors of France’s iconic tricolor flag, with the golden Paris 2024 logo prominently displayed across its chest. Around 10,500 athletes from 206 NOCs will compete. The last Olympic Games were held in Tokyo, Japan in 2020. Los Angeles, in the US, will host the next Olympic Games from 14 to 30 July 2028, while Brisbane, in Australia, will host the Games in 2032.
