Indian woman loses purse with valuables worth nearly ₹1 lakh in Japan, stranger returns everything: ‘I want to cry’

And they said that they don’t want to reveal who they are, but they returned everything. I want to cry,” Midha said.She explained that she and her friend had gone to a restaurant on a rented bicycle. Midha had kept her purse in the bicycle’s basket but forgot to take it with her when they entered the restaurant.“So I just ate for an hour, and we also spent some time there. But when I came back, then I realised, ‘Oh, my purse isn’t here!’” she said.Midha returned to check the bicycle and the area where it had been parked, but the purse was nowhere to be found. She said she panicked as it contained her recently purchased DJI microphone, money and house keys.“So I thought I should go to the police station and reger a complaint that everything had been stolen,” she added.However, when she reached the police station and described the contents of her purse, an officer told her that someone had recently handed in a matching bag.“When I told them all the things, they said that they had a purse kept with them that someone had just turned in. So when I looked, it was actually my purse. Someone had already returned it to the police station,” Midha said.Overwhelmed the gesture, she added, “I wanted to cry, like, such nice people! People here are so kind, and humanity still exs here.
