Delhi Ramlila: Bob Deol to perform Ravana Dahan at Delhi’s Red Fort this Dussehra | Bollywood News

Delhi’s grand Ramlila will be all the more special this year as Bollywood star Bob Deol is set to join the celebrations. Latest reports have it that Bob has been invited the Luv Kush Ramlila Committee to perform the symbolic burning of Ravana’s effigy at the horic Red Fort grounds on October 2.
Bob Deol recently accepted Luv Kush Ramlila committee’s invite and hence will be joining the Dussehra festivities that are slated to take place at Delhi’s Red Fort grounds on October 2, as reported Hindustan Times. The actor will perform the symbolic slaying of the effigy of Ravana, Ravan Dahan, at the celebrations.

In a video shared with the organisers, Bob has expressed his happiness to be part of the iconic tradition. “Dilli ki Ramlila mein iss baar mai aa raha hai…Toh milte hain Dussehra par.” Bob Deol’ presence is expected to draw massive crowds, with lakhs of people usually gathering at the iconic event.

Arjun Kumar, president of the Ramlila committee shared, “Bob Deol’s participation is expected to make this Dussehra even more spectacular and memorable.”
The Luv Kush Ramlila at Red Fort is among the most iconic in the country, blending mythology with modern spectacle and drawing audiences from across Delhi and beyond. With Bob Deol as the star guest this year, organisers believe the symbolic slaying of Ravana will carry an added dose of cinematic flair.
