iPhone 7 at Rs. 7,777 Down Payment With Airtel’s New Postpaid Plan

iPhone 7 remains a good smartphone to buy despite the launch of the iPhone 8, and Airtel is eyeing customers planning to buy one. The telecom operator has launched a new online store where it is offering iPhone 7 at down payment of Rs. 7,777. After buying the iPhone 7 32GB variant – which retails for about Rs. 40,000 online nowadays – from Airtel, the customer will have to pay 24 monthly installments of Rs. 2,499 each. The operator will provide up to 30GB data per month as well as unlimited STD, local and national roaming calls with this Rs. 2,499 postpaid plan.

Airtel is additionally offering physical damage and cyber protection under Airtel’s Secure package which will be free for users purchasing the smartphone from the new Online Store.

Airtel has partnered with Apple, HDFC Bank, Clix Capital, Seynse Technologies, Brightstar Telecommunications, and Vulcan Express to enable offers on its Online Store. The company says that the new Online Store services will be currently available to customers in 21 cities across India, and will be expanded to other cities and towns soon.

All this is a product of some cutting-edge digital engineering by the in-house teams at Airtel. Jio also has a partnership with Apple, under which it sells the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with 70 percent buyback guarantee to customers who choose to return the handset within a year. However, they will have to pay the full price of the iPhone 8 models under this offer.
