iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus pre-orders begin in India, shipping to start on September 29
Apple announced three new iPhones this year – the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 and the anniversary edition phone aka the iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 will be available in India at a starting price of Rs 64,000. This will be the price for the 64GB variant, while the 256GB model of the iPhone 8 will ship for Rs 77,000. While, the iPhone 8 Plus (64GB storage) will have a starting price of Rs 73,000, while the 256GB variant of the iPhone 8 Plus will cost Rs 86,000. If you are an iPhone fan and want to buy either of the iPhones, it noteworthy that iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is already up for pre-orders in India. However, iPhone X will be available for pre-booking starting October 27.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is available for pre-booking on several platforms. The phones can be booked from Amazon India, Flipkart, Infibeam. The phones will also be available for pre-booking from various authorised Apple Resellers across the country. On the other hand, both the phones can be booked by visiting the nearest Reliance Digital outlets, Jio Stores, and Jio.com website. Globally, the sale for iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus will go on sale from September 22. But in India the devices will be on sale in the next launch wave from September 29.
Book iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus online
iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus pre-bookings kick started on Amazon, Flipkart, and Infibeam today midnight. Consumers will be able to book the phones by visiting these online retail stores. Both the 64GB and 256GB of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are available. To recall, both the phones were launched in three colours – Silver, Gold and Space Grey, and to note all the models are up for pre-orders in India.
Flipkart is offering both the iPhones under its No Cost EMI options, and providing 10 per cent discount on SBI bank debit and credit cards. Flipkart is also offering 10 per cent off on payments through PhonePe wallet and around 5 per cent off on Axis Bank Buzz credit cards. The e-commerce store is also offering up to Rs 23,000 off on the purchase of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus on exchange. It is also offering extra Rs 3000 over regular exchange on Apple iPhone for select users from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad. Consumers placing the pre-orders for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plsu on or before 26th September, Flipkart will deliver the phone by 30th September.
Amazon, Flipkart will start shipping the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus starting 29. Amazon India is further offering the phones at extra Rs 10,000 off on exchange. It is also offering 10 per cent additional cashback to HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Card users.
iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus will be available on offline stores
Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available via offline stores as well. The phones will be available on any of its 3,000 Redington India stores across the country. The iPhones will also be available for pre-orders in large format stores like — Croma, Maple, Vijay Sales, and a few more.

Both the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus will be available for pre-bookings at Reliance Digital outlets, Jio Stores, and also on the company’s website — Jio.com. Customers who book the iPhones from any of the Jio stores between September 22 and September 29 will get a cashback of Rs 10,000 if they are Citibank credit card users. Consumers buying the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus from Reliance Digital, Jio.com, Jio Store, and MyJio app will also get 70 per cent cashback only if the buyer returns the phone after a year.
Jio will also offer an exclusive tariff plan for the two Apple smartphones. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus buyers will be able to take up Rs 799 plan in which they will get 90GB of 4G data, free SMS facility, access to Jio apps, and free calls for 28 days.
