IPL 2023: Virat Kohli scores second 100 on the trot in must-win match against Gujarat Titans
Virat Kohli scored his second consecutive century and his 7th overall in the Indian Premier League as he kept Royal Challengers Bangalore in the hunt for the last play-off spot in this year’s tournament.
Kohli, who came into this match after a ton against Sunrisers Hyderabad, scored this century against defending champions Gujarat Titans, courtesy of 13 fours and 1 six. He also became the player with the highest number of centuries in the league with 7, surpassing the likes of Chris Gayle (6) and Jos Buttler (5)
In the last match, Kohli had scored a blering 100 as he and skipper Faf du Plessis guided Royal Challengers Bangalore to an 8-wicket win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Asked to bat first, RCB were off to a brisk start with both Faf du Plessis (28 off 19 balls) and Kohli (101 not out off 61) finding the boundaries at will.
Thanks to their aggressive approach, RCB scored 62 runs in the powerplay.
Earlier, the start of the match was delayed nearly an hour due to heavy rains that left the outfield of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium wet.
Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their Indian Premier League match here on Sunday.
For RCB, leg-spinner Himanshu Sharma is playing in place of Karn Sharma in a like-for-like replacement, while GT are unchanged.
In the other match of the day, Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad which means that RCB will only qualify if they beat Gujarat Titans outright
