He made the remarks at the opening of his corruption trial in court, as a request to be exempted from his scheduled testimony. The Benjamin Netanyahu-led country had approved a plan to take over and occupy the besieged Palestinian enclave in August.
‘Gaza is burning’: Israeli Defence Miner Israel Katz, in a post on X on Tuesday, said, “Gaza is burning”. Katz further added, “The IDF strikes with an iron f at the terror infrastructure and IDF soldiers are fighting bravely to create the conditions for the release of the hostages and the defeat of Hamas.”Story continues below this ad
Trump warns Hamas: Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump warned Hamas, stating that if the reports of using hostages as human shields against Israel’s ground offensive in Gaza City were true, “all bets are off”. “I have just read a News Report that Hamas has moved the hostages above ground to use them as human shields against Israel’s ground offensive. I hope the Leaders of Hamas know what they’re getting into if they do such a thing,” he wrote in a post on Truth Social.
