‘It was sad to see Irfan Pathan dance at Afghanan beating Pakan’: Kamran Akmal lashes out | Cricket-world-cup News
When he spotted Rashid Khan in the victory lap of the Afghanan team in Chennai after beating Pakan, Irfan Pathan, who was in an on-field camera discussion, started to dance with Rashid. The video went viral, and it hasn’t gone down particularly well in Pakan.
Former Pakan wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal was puzzled it.
“I was surprised at Irfan Pathan dance,” Kamran Akmal told Ary News. “I remember India beating Pakan in Australia; even then this kind of happiness wasn’t seen. But there seems to be greater joy in Afghanan defeating Pakan. It was sad to see – not just for me but for nation. The broadcasters should think about that this – neutral commentators shouldn’t do this.”
Irfan Pathan would post an Instagram video addressing the reasons for that dance.
“And I full filled mine. @rashid.khan19 told me they will win again and I told him I will dance again.”
Meanwhile, in Pakan, the postmortem continues to roll out. Former Pakan player Ahmed Shehzad has hit out how “friendships” are resulting in selections. Most Read

“When you start selecting players on likes and dislikes, then the players feel betrayed in their trust. And the main players quit for America … Friendship is one thing, but you can’t sweep their blunderers under the carpet when you look at the nation. ” Shehzad told Ary News.
“All your cream from domestic has quit and gone to USA as they don’t see any future here. Because they are not given chances at the right time. Ever since PSL has come …Haris Rauf is bowling in powerplay and is getting hit.Abdullah Shafeeq, Saud Shakeel weren’t in the scheme of things, suddenly they are playing. Then it means your planning wasn’t good. Same with Hasan Ali.
Mohammad Haris hits one fifty in PSL and has been with the team for a while now – but he hasn’t played a game nor played domestic. People who have hit 20-25 hundreds are ignored from domestic cricket.”
