Jackie Shroff, who recently celebrated his 68th birthday, follows a disciplined routine. The Ba John actor said he begins his morning with “medicinal plants” like paan ka patta (betel leaf), mango leaf, and more. “I eat all these leaves after I wake up in the morning. These are medicinal plants (herbs). I also have giloy with warm water, which is good for immunity. Mango leaf is also very beneficial. Then there is parijat (night jasmine), which is so bitter, but the value is so much,” Shroff shared.
He added, “Brahmi ba leaves are lethal. They are good for your tummy. For people like me who are from the wild…they can have. I like to have spices like cinnamon, clove, and cardamom. You can have it with warm water or include it in your coffee,” Shroff told GQ India.
