Another BJP Leader Murdered; Naxals Take Responsibility

RAIPUR: Another BJP leader was killed the Naxals in Dantewada. Taking the responsibility for the murder, the Naxals in a pamphlet left near the body of the leader claimed that the BJP-backed Sarpanch was a police informer.
It is worth noting that this is the third targeted killing in CGs Narayanpur in a week. The BJP leader was a member of the Mandal working committee of Bhajwa. His mortal remains arrived to his village on Sunday morning for cremation.
The incident took place on Saturday night when the Ramdhar Aalami had gone to Thulthi a naxal-dominated village near Handwara waterfall near the Indravati river. The naxals kidnapped him and slit his throat. Leaving him gasping for breath in the forests of Hilkul, they ran away leaving behind a note. The note the former Bastar Division Committee of Naxalites also mentioned that he was warned of his actions several times earlier but he failed to comply with their orders.
Earlier in Narayanpur BJP leader Sagar Sahu was shot dead two unknown bike-borne assailants at his home.
