Jason Momoa set to play Lobo in upcoming Supergirl movie | Hollywood News

When James Gunn talked about a new DC, he must have been talking about things like this. It has been confirmed that Jason Momoa will play the character of Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
Momoa has been a part of the DC universe for quite some time as the ruler of Atlantis. His stint as Aquaman lasted for four movies and seven years, with his cameo appearance in Batman Vs Superman being the first. The first Aquaman film performed well at the box office and replenished hope in the heart of all DC fans. But in true DC fashion, the sequel to the movie couldn’t make a mark at the box office and received lackluster reviews, securing a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
