Jasprit Bumrah blessed with ba boy, shares news on social media | Cricket News

India pacer Jasprit Bumrah took to his social media on Monday to share the news of the birth of his son.
“Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it – Jasprit and Sanjana,” Bumrah wrote as a caption alongside an image.
The 29-year-old had left the Indian camp in Sri Lanka on Sunday to be with his wife in Mumbai, Sanjana Ganesan for the birth of their child, henceforth missing out on India’s game against Nepal on Monday.

It was during the India tour of Ireland last month that Bumrah had donned the Indian colors for the first time since being ruled out of the T20 World Cup last year owing to a recurring back injury. As a result of the injury, he had also missed out the several bilateral series, IPL 2023 and the World Test Championship final earlier this summer for India and his comeback in time for the World Cup had been under scanner.

Those reservations were shunned during the Ireland series in which the pacer led India to a 2-0 win and, also finished as the leading wicket taker with four scalps.
Jasprit is someone who we have missed a lot, over the last two years he has not played too much games,” head coach Rahul Dravid had said ahead of the Asia Cup. “We will ease him into it slowly. It was nice for him to get those overs in the tour of Ireland. We have a whole month to build him up before the World Cup.
