Archana Puran Singh’s family welcomes Parmeet Sethi with the ‘DDLJ bell’ in Dehradun, Yogita Bihani finds it ‘cute’ | Bollywood News

Parmeet Sethi made his debut in the movies in the 1995 hit film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, and to date, he is fondly remembered for his appearance in the film. So it kind of makes sense that his in-laws continue to cherish the memory of Parmeet’s biggest success and still hold parts of it close to them. In the latest video on Aary Vlogs’ YouTube channel, the family traveled to Dehradun, which is Archana’s hometown, and they visited the house where Archana grew up.
Archana, Parmeet, and their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, along with other family members traveled to Dehradun and this time, Aaryamann’s fiancee Yogita Bihani accompanied them. As soon as they landed at Archana’s childhood home, Yogita spotted the cow bell from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge on the door and remarked, “DDLJ bell, how cute.”
Archana’s family then presented a cake to welcome Yogita into the family which was cut both Aaryamann and Yogita. Archana loved the cake and remarked, “Dehradun ki bakery ko kaun beat kar sakta hai? (Which bakery can beat the one from Dehradun?)” And to this, Parmeet responded, “Dehradun ki chokri ko kaun beat kar sakta hai? Bambai ke chokre fail hain. (Who can beat a girl from Dehradun? Mumbai boys fail in front of her.)”

In another vlog recently uploaded on the channel, Archana opened up about her childhood in Dehradun and shared that she had a comfortable childhood in the hills. “We lived in a bungalow and my dad had a Chevrolet Impala, he had all the fancy cars at that time,” she shared.
She spoke about her late father fondly and said, “My dad defended Sanjay Gandhi once in court. He was a criminal lawyer and despite being a criminal lawyer he was very innocent and kind-hearted. It was his humour that has been passed on to me and you. He was a great man. When he passed away, the whole of Dehradun came for his funeral.”
