Kajol opens up about daughter Nysa’s Bollywood plans, advises aspiring actors to avoid altering appearance: ‘Naak badal do, haath badal do…’ | Bollywood News
Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s daughter, Nysa Devgan, often makes headlines for her rare public appearances with her friends from the film industry. But like any other star kid, Nysa too is subjected to questions around her possible Bollywood debut. At a recent event, Kajol was asked if Nysa is interested in the movies. Kajol denied that Nysa wants to follow in her parents’ footsteps and become an actor, at least as of now. She also advised aspiring actors to not get swayed suggestions about their physical appearance.
“Bilkul nai.. No, woh 22 saal ki ho gayi hai, hone wali hai abhi. I think she has made up her mind that ki nai aane wali hai abhi (Definitely not. She is 22 years old, and I think she has made up her mind that she isn’t interested in Bollywood currently),” Kajol shared at a recent News18 event
Kajol was also asked what advise she’d give to upcoming talent, and she said, “Pehle baat main yeh kehna chahungi ki please don’t take advise from everybody. Most importantly ki kyunki agar aap puchenge mujhe kya karna chahiye toh 100 log khare hoke bolenge tumhe yeh karna chahiye, tumhe apna naak badlo, tumhe apna haath badlo, baalon ka colour badlo, yeh karo vo karo. (First of all, I would like to say, please do not take advise from everybody. If you ask people about what you should do, then 100 people would stand up and tell you to change your nose, hand, hair colour, this or that),” added Kajol.
Kajol will be next seen in mythological horror film Maa. The film will be directed Vishal Furia. The first look of film Maa was shared in March this year and it shows Kajol as a fierce mother, trying to protect her daughter. The film also stars Kherin Sharma, Ronit Roy and Indraneil Sengupta in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to release on June 27.
