Kamlesh Nagarkoti ruled out of IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals name Priyam Garg as replacement

Delhi Capitals (DC) quick Kamlesh Nagarkoti is ruled out of the remainder of the 2023 Indian Premier League after sustaining a lower back stress fracture, the franchise confirmed on Sunday.
DC have named Uttar Pradesh batter Priyam Garg as Nagarkoti’s replacement and DC. Garg, who was bought the Capitals for a base price of Rs 20 lakh, had featured in 21 IPL games for Sunrisers Hyderabad since the 2020 season.
Garg pipped Abhimanyu Easwaran to grab the empty slot for the Capitals, who have only won one of their six games so far this season.
Facing Kolkata Knight Riders at home in the previous encounter, Delhi came of with two points following a late start owing to rain.

Prior to their game on Thursday, the Capitals had lost five straight games to Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
David Warner and Co currently sit at the bottom of the 10-team points table and face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next game on Monday.
