A few days ago, 34-year-old Umar Akmal posted his shirtless photo, showing off his six-pack abs as a sign of his fitness. “Attention please. This is for those who think i am not fit,” captioned Umar.
And now his elder brother and former Pakan wicketkeeper-batter Kamran Akmal has claimed that Umar has got a better stats than Virat Kohli in the T20 World Cups.
“Mujhe stats kal aaye hai, mai baat kar raha Umar ki (I have received the stats yesterday, I am talking about Umar). World Cup T20 matches mey Umar ke Virat Kohli se better numbers hai (In World T20s, Umar has got a better stats than Virat Kohli),” Kamran Akmal said on ARY News.
“Umar toh Virat ki choti ungli ke barabar hai (He is not even close to Virat Kohli, when it comes to his performances and his aura). But Umar has got better strike rate, highest score than Virat Kohli in the T20 World Cups.

“And since we don’t have PR companies we don’t share our stats and performances on the social media. ”
Akmal says if any of the current Pakan cricketer playing in the T20 World Cup has such stats, they would have questioned Virat Kohli’s greatness.
“Imagine if this stats would have been in the name of any of these 15 players. There must have been a storm now. I won’t be surprised if they would have taunted Virat Kohli ‘Bada player banta hai bade sau kiye hue hai’” said Akmal.
Pakan won the title in 2009 and reached two more finals, including at the last T20 World Cup in 2022. Pakan has failed to get out of the group stage for the first time.
