kapil-sharma has been in the news ever since his feud with former co-star Sunil Grover came to the fore in March. This not just began to affect the TRP’s of The Kapil Sharma Show led by him, but also came as a blow to the comedian’s health. In a span of six-months, considering all the circumstances, the channel on which the show is aired and Kapil have ‘mutually decided’ to take a short break.
Clarifying the news of his health to Mumbai Mirror, Kapil Sharma said he is genuinely unwell and is undergoing Ayurvedic treatment in Bangalore. He is hoping to return to work with restored health by September-end.
“I am currently in Bangalore undergoing Ayurvedic treatment. I needed to repair my body to make a great and healthy comeback. I am hoping to be back in Mumbai by September-end.”
The comedian-turned-actor, whose upcoming Bollywood film, Firangi, is slated to release in November this year, also confessed that he had been ignoring his health issues for a while, and now with a tough schedule ahead he needed to take rest.
Kapil, in a recent interview with TOI – TV Times, also rubbished reports of making celebrities wait for him on the sets.
He had said “How can I make them wait? All these rumours are baseless and there is no truth to it. My show is what it is because of these stars. They have added charm to TKSS. I have immense love and respect in my heart for them. I am not bigger than my show.”
Well with the comedian coming out in the open, this rests all speculations and false reports that have been doing the rounds of late.
