Karan Johar’s old video proves Kangana Ranaut was right when she accused filmmaker of nepotism

Mumbai: An old video of Karan Johar admitting to being nepotistic has now gone viral. In the video posted by a Twitter user, we can see Karan talking about nepotism, an allegation, recently levelled against him by none other than the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood – Kangana Ranaut.

When Kangana graced the couch of Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’ last month to promote her film ‘Rangoon’ with Saif Ali Khan, she made a few strong allegations against the producer-director. She called him a movie mafia and a flag-bearer of nepotism.

Karan, who remained silent until the episode went on air, criticised the Himachali beauty of playing the “woman card” and the “victim card” later during an event in London.

And now, a video posted by a Twitter user proves Kangana’s remarks weren’t baseless.

In the video, we can see Karan talking about why he chose ‘chubby girl’ (he was referring to Alia Bhatt’ for ‘Student of the Year’) maybe because she was Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter. He says it is nepotism and admits to being guilty.

Well, now with the emergence of this video, Kangana will certainly have the privilege of having the last laugh!
