Mom-to-be Kiara Advani made a grand debut at the Met Gala 2025 and flaunted her ba bump while posing on the red carpet. The Game Changer actor wore a custom-made dress designed Gaurav Gupta. She wore a gold-plated breastplate and made a loud statement about motherhood at the event. However, Kiara’s look reminded fans of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ensemble during her appearance at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
Kiara wore a black gown featuring an antique gold breastplate adorned with ghungroos and crystals. A gold-plated heart was placed on her stomach, linked to the breastplate a thin gold chain, symbolizing the umbilical cord. Kiara completed her look with a long white cape. Her appearance drew comparisons to Aishwarya’s Cannes look, where she wore a similar black gown with gold 3D floral embellishments attached to the dress. Aishwarya’s attire also featured dramatic puff sleeves, and like Kiara, she wore a floor-sweeping cape that added to the allure. However, Aishwarya had worn a different designer — Falguni Shane Peacock’s creation — at Cannes.

Speaking about her Met Gala 2025 look, Kiara spoke about the significance of making a Met Gala debut while she is pregnant with her first child.
