Watch: Stunned Marcus Stoinis confirms his dismissal from umpire after a dreamy Ravindra Jadeja ball castles his stumps

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star spinner Ravindra Jadeja bowled a beautiful delivery to remove Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter Marcus Stoinis on Wednesday during the LSG vs CSK clash at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
The Aussie batter was left perplexed as he stood there after the Jadeja delivery rattled the wickets behind him.
The ball spun well, took a sharp turn and beat Stoinis. The batter was left flabbergasted, so much so that he would confirm his dismissal from the on-field umpire.

Stoinis was the fourth batter for LSG to be struck out quite early in the innings as he was dismissed for 6 off 4 balls.
Meanwhile, the two teams were forced to split points as their Indian Premier League match was called off due to rain.
With incessant rain lashing the Ekana Stadium, even the minimum five overs of the CSK innings weren’t possible after the home team had made 125 for seven in 19.2 overs when rain interrupted play.
LSG middle-order batter Ayush Badoni’s unbeaten 59 (33 balls; 2x4s, 4x6s) was the only bright spot in the home team’s otherwise lacklustre play as Chennai Super Kings’ Moeen Ali (2/13) and Maheesh Theekshana (2/37) impressed making early inroads.

The game began after a 15-minute delay due to wet outfield and rain returned in the final over of the first innings to halt the proceedings.
