LSG IPL 2025 Full Schedule, Fixtures, Match L, Dates, Venue: The Lucknow Super Giants will look to improve on their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 performance where they failed to reach the play-offs for the first time since their debut in 2022 as they go into the 2025 edition with a new captain Rishabh Pant at the helm. The LSG team will also be hoping to reach at least the final for the first time with their best performance since inception has been back to back 3rd-placed finish in 2022 and 2023.
In last year’s IPL auction, Pant, who was released Delhi Capitals became the most expensive IPL signing of all-time as LSG brought him in with a mammoth Rs 27 crore bid. While his former franchise DC opted for an RTM bid at Rs 20.75 crore, LSG raised the bidding a staggering margin to Rs 27 crore, make him the most expensive signing at the auctions hory.
Initially retaining names like Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Ayush Badoni and Mohsin Khan, the LSG franchise, who also let go of their own skipper KL Rahul to Delhi Capitals, signed some big names in the auctions like David Miller, Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh. They also snapped up the likes of Avesh Khan, Abdul Samad, Aryan Juyal and Akash Deep.
