Madhu Chopra can’t get enough of little granddaughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, with whom she shares a really special bond. “I can’t compensate for the time lost. She (Priyanka) lets me bond with Malti. I consider it a privilege and an honour to be a nani and be in the grandchild’s life. It’s a big honour. It’s a major privilege. Otherwise, parents have to go to their children after seeking an appointment. That should not happen, god forbid,” shared Madhu.Describing it as the best feeling, she told Pinkvilla: “The best thing in the world. This is the best elevation of my qualification. I love being a nani. I spoil her completely. She likes it.”
She also added that Nick and Priyanka are both there for Malti all the time. “Nick and Priyanka are giving a wonderful upbringing to their child. Both of them are hands-on parents,” shared Madhu, who added that while being there for son Siddharth’s wedding, Malti bonded very well with the entire family.
