Madhya Pradesh: Kamal Nath transfers chief of intelligence among 14 IPS officers
BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred 14 senior IPS officers of the rank of additional director general (ADG) including chief of intelligence and economic offences wing (EOW).
ADG intelligence Rajeev Tondon has been shifted to railways. He has been replaced by Sanjay Rana who was posted as managing director police housing corporation.
ADG lokayukta Sanjay V Mane will take Rana’s place.
Similarly DG EOW Madhu Kumar has been shifted to narcotics wing. He has been replaced by S M Afzal who was ADG police welfare. ADG (training and complaint) K N Tiwari has also been shifted to EOW.
ADG Indore Ajay Sharma has been sent to PHQ. ADG narcotics Varun Kapoor will take charge of Indore. Kapoor has been replaced by ADG Madhu Kumar.
ADG Co-operative fraud Putshotam Sharma will be ADG police training. ADG police training (Bohri) Sushovan Banerjee has been shifted to Lokayukta. ADG PTRI Vijay Kataria will take charge of police welfare unit. IG Jabalpur A N Singh has been moved to PHQ. He has been replaced by Home Secretary Vivek Sharma.
