Mahesh Bhatt’s son threatens to pulverise anybody who hits ser Pooja, months after Ranvir Shorey mentioned their past clash | Bollywood News

Rahul Bhatt, the son of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, spoke about reacting violently when his ser Pooja Bhatt was allegedly assaulted. He didn’t take any names, but seemed to be alluding to Pooja’s relationship with actor Ranvir Shorey, whom she had accused of hitting her. Rahul admitted to assaulting a person that he didn’t identify, and said that nobody could stop him from assaulting someone who raises their hand on Pooja. In an interview, Rahul said that the children of film industry folk are often mentally ill, because of the unusual lives they lead.
Appearing on the Hindi Rush YouTube channel, he was asked about his ser, and he said, “I was always the kind of person who wouldn’t spare anybody who messed with my ser. I’m well-behaved with well-behaved people, but I could be a horror to the wrong kind of people.” When it was mentioned that he had actually assaulted someone for misbehaving with Pooja, he said, “I did, and I will do it again. I’m not afraid of anybody. If anybody hits my ser, no law and order can stop me. Only God can save them. I’m still like that, my core personality hasn’t changed.”

Rahul admitted that individuals raised in and around the film industry can be ‘f****d up’. “We’ve seen it all; death threats, IT raids, everything. Nothing bothers us,” he said, adding, “You become completely immune, in a good way, without losing your humanity.” Rahul said that he is ‘completely ostracised and disconnected from life’, and that he isn’t bothered about perception or anything else.
In a recent interview, Ranvir reflected on the case, and accused Rahul of manipulating his father against him. “Her brother was the one who assaulted me. He (Mahesh Bhatt) could have told these guys not to talk like that…. In that sense I felt he was manipulative towards me. These are all 25 years old stories, I don’t want to get into them now,” he told Siddharth Kannan in an interview. He said that he lost respect for the filmmaker after what happened. “I had great regard for Mr Bhatt (Mahesh Bhatt) till the fiasco happened when I was seeing his daughter (Pooja Bhatt). Then I saw that actually whatever respect I had for him was being used to manipulate me… very duplicitous behaviour going on,” he told agency ANI.
In the Hindi Rush interview, Rahul admitted to having been arrested seven times. But, he said that he has never been convicted.
