BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who sees himself as ‘mamaji’ of all children in the state, has registered online as a teacher for a unique scheme where government representatives and eminent personalities will teach in schools across Madhya Pradesh for a day.
Chouhan has chosen his alma mater, Model School in TT Nagar, Bhopal, where he did his elementary schooling. He is scheduled to teach on January 28.
School education department principal secretary Deepti Mukherji Gaur confirmed this on Sunday and said: “So far 1,800 people have registered on the MP portal, including the CM. There are seven ministers as well.” The CM’s schedule to teach at Model school may change only if he has to travel somewhere, she added.
