‘Coming home’: Jasprit Bumrah back in action, KL Rahul resumes batting

In what comes as a big boost to Team India, seamer Jasprit Bumrah and batter KL Rahul provided a glimpse into the their road to recovery.
While Bumrah posted a video collage of him in the nets at the NCA, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) took to Twitter to share a video of Rahul taking part in a light batting session.
Rahul, one of the most versatile and complete batters in world cricket, had undergone surgery on his right thigh after injuring himself in the IPL.
Bumrah, after undergoing back surgery in March, had resumed bowling last month after successfully undergoing rehabilitation at the NCA.
His rehab programme has been continuing under the watchful eyes of BCCI’s head of cricket VVS Laxman, and he is bowling full throttle at the nets, where he is sending down 8-10 overs.

Rahul had announced his decision to undergo surgery to fix the issue. The decision ensured he would miss the rest of the IPL season and the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final against Australia from June 7 at The Oval in London.
