Many Covid restrictions lifted, says CM
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that many restrictions related to corona have been lifted in the state, but we all have to pay attention to corona appropriate behavior by taking all precautions. Every person must get a second dose of the vaccine to protect against corona. We have attain cent percent achievement of both the doses by the month of December. So far 92 percent of people in the state have got the first dose of vaccine and 50 percent have got the second dose. Everyone has to mobilize to make the Vaccination Maha Abhiyan a success. By getting vaccinated in the Maha Abhiyan on 24th of this month and on December 01, all the people left out of the vaccine should ensure their own safety.
In a message to the people of the state today, Chouhan said that the restrictions imposed earlier for corona control have been removed from November 17, 2021. The livelihoods of many people were being affected by the restrictions.
Giving the example of Burhanpur Yatra, Chouhan said that he was made aware of the pain of the livelihood by a rural brother Thakur Das working for a band party. The same problem was faced by the small traders who set up their shops in the fairs and markets. Everyone insisted that now the ban should end. Covid infection is completely controlled in the state. Today there have been 7 positive cases of corona, the number of active cases is also 79. There is no case in 47 districts of the state. Chouhan said that after deliberating on all these facts, a decision has been taken to end the ban.
The Chief Minister said that we all have to be careful despite the situation of control over corona. There are reports of infection in some countries of Europe. If we are careless we may have to impose restrictions again. No one wants the infection to spread and restrictions to be imposed. We have to follow our marriage and other traditions with utmost care.
Chouhan said that every person has to keep using mask. Keep distance from each other. Hands have to be kept clean. Along with this, the Health Department and the concerned staff have to conduct 70-75 thousand tests daily so that necessary arrangements can be made if the infection is detected. One should not feel any problem in getting the corona test done. Chouhan told that he himself conducts this test every week.
